SlugCrew Rewards Update 2025

With Jin bundled up into Jin vs Greppa and scheduled to ship in a few months, we figured it was high time to rotate out the old SlugCrew rewards.

As for what’s being rotated in, well, read on, SlugFans!

First, let’s preview the new Minor Rewards. These three Red Dragon Inn promo cards are available for any SlugCrew member who earns 30 SlugCrew Points (about 6 hours of demos). But if you get 150 SlugCrew Points (about 30 hours of demos), you can earn the Major Reward – a sneak-preview version of a future Red Dragon Inn character!

And the new SlugCrew preview character is…

Baelfire, a foe from beyond*!

Baelfire has attained phenomenal abyssal power at the cost of his very humanity, and his interplanar freedom. Trapped in his own personal shadowrealm, the demonic summoner waits to be called upon to enact wicked deeds on behalf of some hapless witch or warlock.

When Baelfire is unleashed, you’d better watch out – he doesn’t arrive without an entourage!

Summoning for fun and profit!

Many of Baelfire’s cards are Summon cards. These cards have both a primary effect, typical of any character’s card effects, and a bonus secondary effect that can play a Shadowfiend onto the table!

Shadowfiends are semi-permanent minions that provide a recurring benefit or penalty to the player they are in front of. While Baelfire will keep helpful Shadowfiends like the Zombie or Oculus for himself, he’ll be sure to send Razortooth Beasts, Gold Imps and Demon Wenches to other players at the table.

Fortunately for Baelfire’s Foes, you can deal with his Shadowfiends by attacking them with Fortitude loss effects. However, if you let Baelfire summon a war host…things can get scary.

Surrounded by Shadowfiends!

Many of Baelfire’s cards also interact with the minions he has in play. Some of his cards will get better depending on how many Shadowfiends are in play. Others will consume them for Fortitude restoration effects!

Baelfire is the Boss.

Like any good bad guy, Baelfire also has Boss Battle cards for taking on all other players at the same time! In addition to his normal 15-card set of Boss cards, he also drags two extra-monstrous Shadowfiends to the table!

Current SlugCrew – now is the time to tell us if you have moved recently! Rewards that you have already earned will be shipping out over the next few weeks.

*Actually, Baelfire is from Battle for Greyport, which is only kind of beyond The Red Dragon Inn.
